Your images stay on your device

kinotype runs entirely in your browser. Any image you upload is processed locally — it is never sent to or stored on any server. Drafts, saved projects, fonts, and shared artwork are stored in this browser so you can return to them. These local copies are shared by people using the same browser profile; logging out does not erase them. Clearing site data removes these local copies. Download a project backup to keep a separate copy.

Accounts and exports

You can export once without an account across Kino, Meshy, and Bloom. A cookie remembers that allowance in this browser for one year. Sign up or log in for unlimited exports. Account credentials and authentication sessions are handled through Supabase; your creative project assets stay on this device.

Share links

A share or embed link encodes only your settings and the built-in shape you picked (as text in the URL). Uploaded images are not included in share links. Anyone with a link can read its settings and text, and the URL may appear in browser history and hosting access logs. Avoid putting private information into shared artwork.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand overall usage (e.g. page views). Analytics excludes authentication pages and removes query strings and fragments, including shared artwork settings. Uploaded content is not sent to analytics. Hosting and authentication providers process technical request data to operate and secure the service.

Terms

kinotype is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the rights to any image you upload. Exports you create are yours to use.
